“This is a simple shrimp dish that my family enjoys whenever we get together!”

Creole Garlic Shrimp

Course: Lunch or Dinner

Total Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: Feeds 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 stick of butter, salted
  • 20 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 Ibs of shrimp, peel on
  • 10 sprigs of thyme, fresh
  • 5 bay leaves, fresh
  • 1 tbsp of Creole seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Worchestire sauce
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 1 bunch of parsley, chopped
  • Salt (as needed)

Preparation:

  1. In a large saute pan, add butter on medium high heat.
  2. Add garlic and saute for 5 minutes, until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp, thyme, bay leaf, Creole seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Cook for 8 minutes, flipping constantly or until cooked.
  5. Finish with lemon juice, chopped parsley, and salt.
  6. Serve with French bread.
