“I’m praying to become a household name in this business.”

Danny Boy is the passionate and soulful voice millions of listeners have heard on the 2Pac hits “I Ain’t Mad at Cha” and “Picture Me Rollin’.” He moved to California at the age of 15 to pursue a career in the music industry, where he was signed to Death Row Records. He was born into a family of musicians and grew up listening to the greats of their time—Stevie Wonder, Patti LaBelle, and Marvin Gaye.

After many personal and professional tribulations, Danny Boy is back with two new singles, “This Song” and “Done Me Wrong.” This is all preparation for his up-and-coming album Black Heart, which will be released in February 2023. Both singles are throwbacks to the 90s, a time when singers would put their everything into making you feel something.

Beyond music, Danny Boy is excited to open up his newest restaurant venture, Oh Danny Boy’s in Chicago. “It’s a kiss of the culture,” Danny explains. “I have 2Pac Burgers, Bernie Macaroni, and Al Greens. I wanted to pay homage to the artists, and actors, who paved the way for hip hop and film.” But Danny Boy’s main focus is his music. “This past summer, I have been preparing to release new music,” Danny Boy says. “I’m praying to become a household name in this business,” Danny Boy says. “Please follow me as I explore my musical and life journey.”
